Engineering & automation

Connect your tools, improve platform reliability or turn a manual process into a usable service: we start with how your team actually works to design, deliver and hand over a solution that fits.

Discuss this service →Engagement scoped around your goals

Concrete problems to solve

  • The same information is re-entered across tools, creating discrepancies that are difficult to track.
  • A process depends on one person, undocumented scripts or fragile manual steps.
  • Deployments are risky, incidents are difficult to diagnose or the platform struggles under load.
  • You want to build a product or add an AI feature without creating an unmanaged dependency.

Design around actual workflows

  • Map users, data, tools, exceptions and responsibilities before choosing a solution.
  • Compare a simple integration, an existing tool and custom development based on total cost and maintenance.
  • Plan access controls, traceability, recovery from errors and daily operations from the start.
  • Introduce AI when it addresses a clear need, with boundaries and validation proportionate to its impact.

Examples of possible interventions

  • Connect CRM, billing and internal tools with duplicate handling and synchronization error tracking.
  • Build an internal tool to track a case, approve a step or replace manual file exchanges.
  • Automate document processing or data preparation while retaining human review for exceptions.
  • Improve testing, deployments, observability and recovery mechanisms for a cloud platform.

What you receive

  • A scope and acceptance criteria tied to actual use, with explicit integrations and limitations.
  • Code, configuration and documentation needed for the agreed solution, under the engagement terms.
  • Checks of critical workflows, errors and recovery, plus a deployment plan suited to the context.
  • A handover to your team covering operations, access, monitoring and expected maintenance.

From scoping to launch

  • 1. Choose a worthwhile problem and document the starting point: time spent, errors or reliability constraints.
  • 2. Design a limited first version with success criteria and the exceptions it needs to handle.
  • 3. Build and validate with the people who will use the solution, then adjust based on their feedback.
  • 4. Roll out progressively, transfer knowledge and compare results against the baseline.

A solution your team can operate

  • Handle duplicates, repeated calls and API downtime rather than assuming every workflow succeeds.
  • Plan useful alerts, recovery and a manual fallback when automation cannot complete.
  • Track recurring costs: hosting, licenses, APIs, AI model usage and maintenance.
  • Security or SOC 2 readiness support covers agreed technical controls; it does not replace a certification audit.

Frequently asked questions

Can we keep our current tools?

Often, yes. We review APIs, integration options and limitations before recommending replacement. Costs and constraints are discussed for each option.

Is AI needed for automation?

No. An explicit rule, an API or a conventional workflow may be enough. AI is considered when the work warrants it, with output checks and control over data.

What happens after delivery?

Handover, maintenance ownership and any ongoing support are defined in the engagement. Changes to APIs, requirements and external services need to be anticipated.

How do you estimate gains?

We use available measurements or a sample of the existing process, then compare the pilot over an equivalent scope. Expected gains remain assumptions until validated.

Which work is worth simplifying?

Describe the process or platform, the tools involved and what is slowing your team down. We can identify a useful first step.
